Update -
While we were at the Vets today (Tillie had to go back again!), I asked how Margo had settled and how she was healing.
Good news - she was reunited with her original owner.
She has back home where she belongs. Her name is actually Mole!
Amy, (vet nurse that adopted her the other week) was left in no doubt that she was a much loved pet by the greeting she gave the couple.
The bad news is, Mole was stolen from her home about a year ago, along with the family's two other lurchers that are still missing.
Mole's family have been searching the whole time.

I just hope and pray that the other two dogs are found safe and well very soon.

So very pleased to hear that Mole has been reunited with her owners but how sad about the other two dogs.  I can't imagine how I would feel if I came home to find all my dogs stolen - I would be beside myself.  And after a year, their owners must have felt there was no hope but obviously there is if only the other two can escape from whoever took them.

Thats very sad and becoming and all too common occurence.. I am having new fencing put up in my garden and have asked for it to be higher than before with a gate I can have a proper lock and key on for security.
I don't want to be worrying every time I leave the room and Fern is in the garden.

I feel so sorry for the owners, must be torture not knowing

Lovely news for Mole though!

My side gate is always padlocked (unless I'm actually using it) and always has been.  The back of the house is secure, not so sure about the front but it is well overlooked by other houses.  It's such a worry isn't it?

What a story! Mole is so lucky to be reunited with her owners. I am so sorry about the other two dogs that got stolen. It seems to be happening a lot now, dogs being taken from gardens.
We are in the process of installing a camera, monitoring our drive. They are not that expensive and will hopefully deter any one with sinister intentions.
I would be beside myself, if any of my dogs were taken.
Everyone keep your dogs safe!
